Are LED grow lights proven to be effective? I've heard LED's pro
Nothing could be further from the truth! Unfortunately, some LED grow lights products on the markets are poor quality and do not have enough intensity in their LED's. Some are poorly designed and do not have the correct light ratios for plants. This gives LED's a bad reputation. The truth is NASA is using LEDs to grow plants in space right now with great success and according to in house tests and customer feedbacl, grow lights really work.

This little light does a great job from seed to vegetative growth. No heat and great for small grow areas.
One light is good for maybe 2 plants. I switched to a higher power light during flowering.

I bought this mini 50w UFO LED for the house plants.
I have in my (dark) living room. It certainly isn't for that as it makes the plants look a pukey brown or such. I moved it to my herb garden and put the herb garden grow light in the living room. The herbs are doing better with this LED grow light rather than a flourescent.
