I'm using this to keep houseplants alive in my basement, the plants have been alive for two weeks now so it works for my needs.

Bought this a month or so ago to grow herbs in my closet. Easy to set up really just plugged it into a wall outlet home timer and set up some seeds. I have so far sprouted oregano, thyme, cilantro, and basil. The plants are all very small but seem to be growing. I hope it gives off enough light to support the plants...so far so good. (very long bulb life and very low wattage)

Update: I have to date grown herbs, started marigolds, started pumpkin seeds. Plants look great!

I expected this to be made cheaply for some reason. Maybe because I was unfamiliar with this. To my surprise, this 300W LED grow light is actually pretty well made. Although to some this may seem pricy and there are cheaper ones out there, this is the best for the money. Here's why
