What's the difference between 1w, 2w and 3w chip
Common sense would dictate that a 3W LED would emit more intense and brighter light than a 1W. This is correct, In other words, if an LED grow light using a 1w diode can penetrate 4 inches of canopy, then a 3w should be able to penetrate at least 16 inches into the canopy.

I bought this light for an indoor garden, as I love fresh produce. Over all the light works great, but I have only had it for a few months. So well see if I get 50000 hours out of it.

Led's are definitely more energy efficient using only 1/4 wattage for typical growing and last 10x longer than 1000 watt HID lights for the same grow. since plants are green they absorb red and blue light. thats how you get that nice dark color on plants under led grow lights.
