What's the difference between 1w, 2w and 3w chip
Common sense would dictate that a 3W LED would emit more intense and brighter light than a 1W. This is correct, In other words, if an LED grow light using a 1w diode can penetrate 4 inches of canopy, then a 3w should be able to penetrate at least 16 inches into the canopy.

I purchased this Plant Lamp for a bonsai palm that I have in my office. Without windows, that is my only guaranteed source of light. I figured I would give it a try and if it didn't work out, I would keep my plant at home instead. I have the lamp set on a timer and the palm is doing so well. I like the clamp mechanism as I can clamp the lamp to a nearby bookcase. Extremely happy with my purchase.
